Ode to the Beach
You are always there with the wind as your friend,
with the sea as your sister you give joy to my skin,
we have much fun with your sand as the dance floor
and the disco lights is the glorious sun,
people from near and far, big and tall, old and young,
come just to be with you and listen to your stories dictated by the waves,
we follow what you say because we are your slaves,
and the stories never get old; just gain value like gold,
and even when you don´t speak you use your silence to teach
showing us that happiness is free.
Hello!
SvaraRaderaI thought it was very beautiful, and I like how you shifted your attention away from the sea to its much less noticed neighbour.

Hi,
SvaraRaderaNice poem! It is quite different from your other poems and I think that it was really beautiful.
I like the tone an your choice of words, and when I read it I came to think about a beautiful beach that I visited on my last trip to Thailand so I agree with you. The beach is wonderful!

Simpy beautiful, it's simple and you are using a nice rhythm with it :)
